Victoria Park Hike

---
Once the clouds rolled over during the day Suz and I had an opportunity to go and enjoy the nice weather.  We picked Victoria Park today which is a tricky park to get to using the transit system but was well worth the trip.  We got a little disoriented at the park so I'm pretty sure we missed a large chunk of it, even so we'll be back as it has become our favourite park in London!   After hiking through lots of lush spring time scenery we continuing back to the nearest station and headed off to Tottenham Court Road to mix things up with some down town environment and try to locate one of the few Mexican restaurants found in London.   (recommended by one of Suz's co-workers for its nacho's which I'm realizing is a hard thing to find around here!)    We stumbled around Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square making our way to Covent Gardens   trying to locate this restaurant.  With some blind luck we made a random turn down a side street to cut through a block and realized we were walking right past it!    I guess it was meant to be and the food was just as satisfying as we were anticipating.   Our craving for Mexican food has subsided for now but I'm sure it won't be long before we need some more of El Pacifico Cafe.

Off to see Kings Lynn

---
News to me, England has two public holidays in May!  So Suz and I had to scramble to figure out what were going to do with our extra Monday off.   Luckily this gave us an opportunity to go and visit an old college classmate who also happens to be living in England.  At the time she also has a friend from Windsor Ontario who is down visiting for a few weeks.  We've been meaning to go out and see the old port town for a while now where she's living and teaching media classes.   It's about a two hour train ride from London which aside from the (£30 each) expense it's quite easy to do.  Unfortunately it was a rather cold day with bits of showers throughout however we managed to get in a pretty good tour of the town.  Afterwards we headed back to her flat for some fantastic burgers and played a couple excellent card games. :)
  Another enjoyable weekend!
