Chicago in London

---
So it was Saturday night and we wanted to see a show.  We went to the part of London where the shows are happening at Piccadilly Circus.  We arrived at 7:30 and still managed to have a small handful of shows we could see.   We ended up going with Chicago, tickets were 40 quid each but we got seats in the first row second balcony seating.  The show was of course top notch and the Cambridge theatre was very classic and made for a great first time experience.   I have to admit however it was quite surreal to be watching an Americanized play in London.

Buckingham Palace Journey

---
We finally decided to see what the Buckingham palace scene was all about.  It was one of the major tourist locations downtown that we didn't have time to check out on our 5 days in England for the interview.  After sightseeing the palace we wandered off through Hyde Park.  There were lots of things to see although it was quite uncomfortably cold even though it was the warmest day for a while.    On our journey through Hyde Park we walked past the famous Speakers Corner which has always been a place for people to stand on a little platform and speak their mind to whoever is interested.    I can't say Suz and I were really in the mood for being lectured to at the time but I think I'd like to go back when its warmer and stay for a bit to listen to some of these.

Winter Wonderland!

---
After this intense snowfall only half of our staff braved the weather to make it into work.  Followed by widespread delays within the underground transit system.    Yep winter's tough in London England.
